Once your return reaches us, our team will thoroughly inspect it.
When the issue is confirmed, we’ll swiftly approve a refund, repair, or replacement depending on the situation.

Just a quick heads-up – we’re unable to provide refunds for change of mind, such as choosing the wrong size, color, or simply deciding you no longer want the product. However, we’re always happy to offer an exchange or store credit once the item is returned in its original condition.

Did you receive a faulty product?

To assist you faster, we may ask for a photo or video of the issue.

This helps us quickly assess the problem without requiring you to send the item back first. Visual evidence allows our support team to confirm whether the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described — ensuring a fair and accurate resolution in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Once confirmed, we’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund for your original item.

We’ll determine the best outcome based on the nature of the issue, so you receive a prompt and appropriate solution without unnecessary delays.

If you experience an issue after the initial 30-day period, don’t worry — we’re still here to help. Simply contact us, and we’ll review your case individually to see what can be done. Please note, however, that damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or accidental incidents isn’t covered for replacement or refund after the 30-day period.

Can we exchange your item?

Of course! We want you to love every purchase from us. If you ever need to exchange your item because you received the wrong product, the wrong size, or a faulty one, we’re here to help.

To make sure the process runs smoothly, please:

- Contact us within 30 days of your order date.

- Return the product unused, in original packaging, and with all parts included.

- Use a trackable shipping method when sending your return to ensure it reaches us safely.

If your exchange is due to a change of mind, we’re happy to offer a store credit or exchange as long as the product is unused and in perfect condition.

Lost, Stolen, or Undelivered Orders

In the rare event that your order goes missing, is stolen, or doesn’t arrive, don’t worry — we’ve got your back!

Our team will work closely with our shipping companies to track what happened. If your package is confirmed as lost, we’ll arrange a free replacement or refund depending on the situation.

If your order is marked as “delivered” but you haven’t received it, please contact us so we can open an investigation with the courier. While we can’t guarantee a refund in these cases, we’ll do everything we can to help resolve it quickly.

Do I pay shipping costs for the returns?

We’ve made returning items simple and hassle-free! If you ever need to send your order back, just reach out to us first at support@modernaussies.com.au to request our return address. This ensures your return is properly tracked and processed through our system — keeping everything smooth and secure.

If you received a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, don’t worry — once the issue is confirmed, we will refund the cost of return shipping and make it right with a refund or replacement, depending on what you prefer.

If you’re returning an item for reasons such as change of mind, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, and with all tags and packaging included in order to be eligible for a refund.

Please make sure to use a trackable shipping service when sending your return. This allows both you and our team to verify the return has been sent and received. Returns sent without tracking may lead to delays, as we are unable to confirm the item’s delivery without a tracking number.
