I wasn't expecting much from this product based on the price point of a two-piece set but was pleasantly surprised. Yes the welding quality and fit and finish is pretty typical of products made overseas, however for a tool that you are using in the garden that is acceptable, especially given the cost. You do have to buy a handle for these, and I would recommend taking it with you to the store to get the correct one. I ended up getting a pitchfork handle at a farm supply store that had a metal sleeve over the wood at the end where the tool mounted. The metal sleeve was tapered and fit well into the hoe. I drilled a hole all the way through and secured it with a bolt. So far it is working well. The hoe is pretty thin and quite sharp so it goes easily into the soil. You have to be careful though and not swing to aggressively if you have a lot of rocks or very hard ground since you could possibly dull/damage the blade or bend the hoe. I would recommend this item to any gardener out there.

You could use these as is, but the design of the handle allows you to attach it to a wooden shaft of whatever length suits your preferences. I intend to put a very short handle on one for hand weeding and attach a long handle to the other for stand-up weeding. (Best of both!) I highly recommend these!

Wow... very sharp and very strong! Although there is only one pictured, you do get TWO of these!! You can see how roughly it is forged together like its straight from a blacksmith! This works very well as a hand held hoe or the handle is hollow allowing you to attach a handle for longer uses. There is also a hole in the handle so you can use a screw to hold a lengthening pole in place. Great product for a great price! Use precautions due to the sharpness of the blades!

These hoes are something else. They are well made, heavy duty and very sharp. I work a lot on a stool in the garden so I liked these did not have handles attached. I may attach a handle to one of these. The quality is very good, the hoe appears you can sharpen the edge with a file very easily. They are super sturdy and will dig deep if needed. I will purchase more from this company as new products are released. Very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity.

You get 2 of these, not just one, so thats a real deal. These are the perfect size to use for everyday gardening around the home. We got them mainly to do work in our many flowerbeds and raised vegetable beds. Just be careful, because they are sharp and a little on the heavy side.

I love this thing! I saw it on a few youtubes. Called many different names, Hula, hoe, hoop hoe, strap hoe. It digs into the surface to grab the weeds and lift them, It can slice across the top as well, and the dirt stays put! Not like a rake which moves the weeds and dirt then you need to use the back of the rake to smooth out the bed. I just love this. And the quality of this one is really good. I'm glad I didn't get the cheaper one. This one is for grown ups. I'm too old for bad tools.

The only thing I have an issue with is the angle of the blade. In order to use the dutch hoe, one has to really bend downward and after a while it's a bit hard on the back.

Where has this been all my life??? SO much more effective than a hoe. This easily pulls weeds from the roots. My garden was completely overgrown and I wasn’t looking forward to the task of getting it ready to plant. I seriously got a 1-2 hour job done in about 15 min. with this tool!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

This is an interesting and useful garden tool. It looks something like a regular hoe but after working it a bit I found that pushing it under the weeds often works better than pulling it, as one does with a hoe. A simple guide or instructions would have helped. It works well in crowded areas. The head seems to have a bit of play with the handle on mine so I will see how sturdy it is as time goes on.

I bought this as a way to cut out small sections of sod for repairing my lawn. It works great to cut evenly below the roots to make sod. Good for small projects so you can avoid a special sod cutter. Also great for normal garden cultivation with less effort than a hoe.

I very much like the quality of this tool, albeit the handle is on the short side, apparently because it is designed for women. Useful though if used as shown in the listing video. Would need a longer handle for taller person to use it in back and forth motion to clear larger areas. But easy to replace handle with longer one, at for the price a good deal. Prospective buyers should note that the blade is not sharpened. I am not sure it needs to be for all uses, and unsharpened the blade is more robust and far less likely to chip or be damaged.

This is a much easier tool to use than a Dutch hoe. The flat angled blade severs weeds roots and skims through the soil. Very accurate for hoeing between rows of plants. Highly recommended.

This hoe was so easy to use in weeding out a first use flower bed. If you can mop a floor, YOU can easily use this weeding hoe. No more 'chopping' weeds. Just gently push and pull. Very strong wooden, full length handle. Nice product.

This unique garden "hoe" is very well made and quite sturdy. It stands up to frequent use. It cuts weeds just below the surface of the soil, and is effective on both push and pull strokes. It is easier to use than a conventional hoe. It comes sharp and ready to go right out of the box.

I have a looped hoe already so I was happy to see this Dutch hoe available online. It is made in a really good quality, very sturdy. The handle is bit shorter than the other one but super lightweighted and flexible to use. Dutch hoe works better to get rid of weeds at a certain point and loose soil. Satisfied with the purchase.

The wooden handle is firmly attached to the business end, which is of great quality and has a sharp edge. It's a little on the heavy side for me but nothing I can't handle.

I have been cutting the annoying ground cover weeds, like goat heads, crab grass, grass, etc. I have used my hoe since forever, or even my weedwhackers, but those ground cover weeds are hard to get. I had never ever seen or heard of this tool, until I saw a landscaping company using them. Let me tell you, this is just an absolute wonderful tool for cutting those annoying weeds.

These are some great tools for weeding.
It's good to receive 2. I attached a handle to one & left the other as is to use in flower gardens & other close up work.
I used the handled one to take down some pesky vines growing up & over my shop building. It worked really well. They come packaged well & are very sharp. Save the cardboard they come in to recover the edges to prevent bumping against t h em& getting cut.
I haven't tried any actual weeding with them yet but judging by what I have done with them I'm sure they'll work well for that.
