Despite putting nothing in the toilet at didn't belong I had an industrial stoppage. I used my regular plunger to no avail. Purchased a new plunger highly recommended by Wire Cutter. Nothing. The nasty contents off the bowl remained. Despite to avoid a big bill or maintenance charge I ordered this product. Poured one package in the bowl. A hour or so later a scummy surface developed but no change in water level. Later that night about 6 hours after application I noticed a decrease in the water level a hub d applied the plunger. I was,greeted with the most satisfying sound of water draining out of the toilet. This company has targeted an essential but rarely acknowledged market. They knockedcit out of the park. Cost benefit? Saving a plumbers bill. Astonomical.

After spending the weekend trying off and on to clear my clogged toilet using a standard accordion type plunger, I ordered the Green Gobbler Powder Plunger. I followed the directions: simply poured the powder into the bowl, added hot water, waited an hour, and flushed. Success! I was amazed at how easy it was to use and how quickly and efficiently it worked. It saved a likely $179 plus plumber visit. I highly recommend the Green Gobbler Powder Plunger.

Worked overnight with the first bag, I do wonder why it comes with a 'resealable' top to the bag, when according to the directions you just dump it all in there. I think it should have been shipped in a box and not the bubble bag. But hey it worked, and I have another bag for later.

The first time we used it, we used really hot water from our kitchen sink to pour into the clogged toilet behind the Green Gobbler. We let it sit overnight and it did not do the trick. I watched a Youtube video of a woman who used boiling hot water to chase after the Green Gobbler that was poured in the toilet. So we tried that, and we let it sit for about 3-4 more hours. We flushed the toilet the first time, looked a little better but it did not completely flush. Then we flushed it one more time, and finally the clog was cleared.

This stuff unclogged a toilet that was getting clogged intermitently for months. After a couple of weeks of using it I can confirm the problem seems to be solved.

This stuff really works great. I had almost given up on my kids toilet, it had a major clog and the bowl was completely full of disgusting water for 3 days. I tried plunging over and over and nothing, as a last resort I bought this stuff and let it sit for about 16 hours. I had put in a bunch of other stuff prior like baking soda, soap, vinegar so when I put in the green gobbler it started bubbling up like crazy and almost came out the top (unless this is supposed to happen), the bubbling did stop after awhile and it never did come out. The following day my father in law tried to plunge it first before putting the hot water in and nothing happened, but as soon as we put in the hot water the plunger worked on the first try. The toilet has been great ever since, I recommend keeping this product around just in case you ever have a toilet problem.

I am so pleased with the effectiveness of this product to clear a toilet clog. It is so much better for our plumbing and septic tank than traditional chemicals.
